Rachael Hrisca – Core, Ride, Strength, Row & Flow

Rachael is the owner of Studio 5 Pilates & Yoga which opened October 2009.  She began studying Pilates at the age of 12 in the Orange County area. A dedicated dancer her whole life, she moved to Boston at the age of 17 to study and dance with Boston Ballet. While with the Company, she studied Pilates and Ballecore, which is a combination of ballet, yoga and Pilates matwork. After dancing with Boston Ballet for four years, Rachael became a New England Patriot’s Cheerleader. During her time with the Patriot’s organization she had the opportunity to perform with Ozzy Osbourne, Carlos Santana, Green Day, Michelle Branch and Trisha Yearwood. She also had the privilege of traveling to visit troops and perform USO shows.

While living in Boston, she started studying Stott Pilates under P.J. O’Clair, one of Stott’s founding teachers. Under P.J.’s direction, Rachael began to obtain certification in Pilates matwork, reformer, cadillac, chair, barrel, injuries and special populations, and pre and post natal. During her certification process, she studied anatomy and put in many intense hours of observation and practical teaching under the guidance of the Stott staff.

After years of dancing and choreographing professionally, Rachael developed her own unique style of barre class. Pulling from all of her years of intense dance training and Pilates conditioning, her workout is a true fusion of both principles. She is also certified in TRX and focuses on continual education to bring new and fresh teaching techniques to the studio.

Rachael has worked with many dancers and athletes while teaching Pilates and enjoys incorporating her dance and athletic background into her teaching method. She is honored to own a business in Ladera Ranch where she lives with her husband, Ryan, and son, Easton.  She loves the community and her loyal clientele.

Bridget Zoller – Core, Ride & Strength

With over 15 years of dance and cheerleading experience, Bridget followed her natural sense of precision as a coach and then discovered the wonders of Pilates.  Her career as a cheerleader, dancer and coach fostered Bridget’s keen sense of movement which helps in guiding her clients through a satisfying physical experience.  Bridget feels at home leading a class and she continues to push the boundaries with her exciting and innovative teaching styles.

Bridget was first exposed to the Pilates Method 5 years ago.  She studied under the Stott method and trained for her teacher’s certification 1 year ago, which provided her with a strong base in anatomy, as well as the tools for teaching a variety of populations.  Bridget also teaches Barre style classes which incorporate Pilates, Yoga and basic Ballet techniques.  Her passion for Pilates has pushed her to pursue a Yoga teaching certificate with an emphasis on pre and post natal techniques.  She also has a degree in psychology from Cal State Long Beach.

Tasha Contreras – Core & Ride

Tasha began practicing Pilates 6 years ago after the birth of her second daughter.  Within just a few sessions she knew it would be something she would eventually want to pursue as a career.  Tasha has spent her life dedicated to dance/cheerleading and sports/fitness and loves both the mental and physical benefits Pilates brings to her life.  She credits Pilates for her abdominal strength, increased flexibility and overall health.  Tasha has such a gratitude for what Pilates has brought to her life that she decided to take it one step further and pursue training through Balance Body University Certification.

Terri Perez – Ride & Strength

Terri practices a lifestyle of health and fitness which she has consistently delivered to her clients for over 20 years. During those years, she has taught a variety of resistance training and cardio formats including yoga, spin, kickboxing, athletic conditioning and pilates. Terri enjoys creating a fun and challenging atmosphere where her clients of all levels are encouraged to achieve their personal fitness goals. At Studio 5, Terri incorporates her background in Group Ex fitness into her barre fusion, spin, and TRX classes.

Terri received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Advertising from California State University, Fullerton and is certified through the American Fitness Association of America and YogaFit.

 

Pamela Prewett – Flow

A competitive level gymnast as a child and a varsity tennis player in high school, I have always followed my passion for physical activity and health. I studied movement as it relates to the body and graduated with a BS in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Fitness Nutrition and Health from San Diego State University. My background in Anatomy and Physiology has helped me deepen my personal yoga practice and further enriches my ability to share yoga with others through teaching. My yoga journey began with my first heated Vinyasa class at Core Power Point Loma in 2009. I was instantly hooked and began practicing 4-6 times per week. In the beginning, I enjoyed the physical challenges presented by my yoga practice. Soon, I discovered the deeper mind, body and spiritual connection that yoga provided. I moved from San Diego to Orange County in 2013 and became RYT-200 certified through Melt Ladera’s Teacher Training Program, led by Sandy DeJohn in 2015. In 2016, I completed Level 2 Teacher Training through Core Power San Diego, led by Beth O’Reilly and Amy Opielowski. I have immense gratitude for the path my journey has followed and for the guidance provided by my mentors. When not on my mat, you can find me in a spin class or cheering for my children at one of their various sporting events. I also enjoy hiking with my family, reading and studying homeopathy. I am truly honored and humbled each and every time I guide a yoga class. I hope to meet you on your mat soon. In love and light.
